Kitzman leads launch of Dominion VUE, a cloud-native DMS providing franchise dealers with advanced mobility, security and accessibility
Norfolk, Va. – December 2, 2020 – Dominion VUE DMS, a cloud-native solution providing dealers the confidence to break free with digital mobility, security and accessibility to meet today’s rapidly changing market, announces that Sharon Kitzman, President of Dominion DMS, a division of Dominion Dealer Solutions, has been named to the 100 Leading Women in North American Auto Industry by Automotive News for the second time. Honorees are selected for their leadership, accomplishments and positive impact on their business. Kitzman’s inclusion on this list is a culmination of a trailblazing career that paved the way for women in the industry. It also comes on the cusp of the company’s launch of its new cloud-native DMS, VUE.
“Sharon is highly regarded in the automotive industry and we are thrilled that she is again recognized for this prestigious award,” said Dominion Dealer Solutions President Dan Sykes. “We are confident that Sharon’s leadership will ensure the success of VUE, our cloud-native DMS that will launch in early 2021. Her experience in the automotive domain is essential in bringing this latest technology to market by offering dealers a new choice in modern security, mobility and accessibility.”
Kitzman has nearly 25 years of experience in the automotive software industry – ranging from customer support, sales, marketing, OEM partnerships to product management. She joined Dominion DMS in 2019 as Senior Vice President and quickly ascended to President in January 2020. Previously, she worked for Infomedia leading the Americas region. Kitzman is a graduate of Ohio State University and a recipient of the 2015 100 Leading Women in the North America award.
“Dealership operations have become increasingly complex due to rapidly emerging technologies, growing security risks, changing regulations and evolving consumer behavior – all of which demands a DMS solution built to meet the challenges of today and tomorrow,” said Sykes. “Sharon’s proven ability will help dealers embrace the digital transformation to scale their business and provide a seamless customer experience for years to come.”
